How important it is to assess the condition of the lamp and maintain the correct working point in the tube amplifier, it does not take long to convince. The presented system is completed by the SE tube amplifier by measuring one or two anode currents and the function of delaying the switching of the anode voltage, which allows for longer lamp life.
