Mechatronic devices and systems is the first textbook on the Polish publishing market compatible with the core curriculum for the profession of mechatronics technician.

It is intended for teaching in the following types of schools: a four-year technical school, a three-year supplementary technical school, a two-year post-secondary school and an annual post-secondary school on the foundation of a profiled high school with a mechatronic profile.

The book should also interest students of higher education institutions studying at the department of mechatronics as well as engineers and technical staff of companies dealing in the production and operation of mechatronic devices and systems, their sale and service.

Due to the wide range of material the textbook has been divided into two parts, keeping the order of the chapters corresponding to the thematic sections of the core curriculum.

The first part consists of four chapters on:
  • Control and electric drive;
  • Pneumatic and electropneumatic control;
  • Hydraulic and electrohydraulic control;
  • Programmable controllers.

The book was prepared very carefully and affordably, with particular attention to the practical side of the issues presented. Created in cooperation with the German publisher Verlag Europa? Lehrmittel, specializing in the preparation of modern school textbooks.

The manual has an attractive graphic design that facilitates the absorption of the presented program content. It contains numerous, colorful illustrations, drawings, charts and tables. It was developed by the academic staff of the Warsaw University of Technology of the Faculty of Mechatronics.
