Petoi Bittle is a small, bionic robot dog that is the perfect tool for learning to program and study the movement of four-legged robots. Thanks to a dedicated Arduino board that coordinates movements, you can connect various sensors to get additional interaction with the environment. User can also add artificial intelligence algorithms using Raspberry Pi or other AI chips.
The robot uses a unique bionic system that allows it to perform dynamic movements while maintaining good coordination. The leg structure used gives more freedom in a variety of terrain. The NyBoard V1 board is used for control, i.e. a dedicated Arduino board with the ATmega328P microcontroller and rich peripherals. It can control at least 12 PWM servos and uses the IMU chip to determine the orientation. Bittle can be programmed with a variety of tools including Arduino IDE and Codecraft for graphical programming.

The design was based on servos placed in each joint. The robot is powered by a built-in Li-Ion 2S battery with a capacity of 1000 mAh. The materials used provide good protection, and the elaborate housing prevents the ingress of dust. The robot can operate in various environmental conditions (but it is not waterproof).

The STEM team of educators has developed a graphic programming course available in English. This makes starting Bittle programming easy and accessible to everyone. The course assumes basic knowledge of graphic programming.
Thanks to additional mounting elements, the robot can be equipped with additional control modules (Raspberry Pi, ESP32) and additional sensors that extend Bittle's capabilities. Full documentation with numerous examples is available on the product page.
