The system used to analyze and display the spectrum of the audio signal, very often used (and found) in audio tracks of audiophile equipment from the so-called high shelf. Apart from the analogue part, the kits used digital signal processing, or DSP. The heart of the analyzer is the ATMega8 processor. The A / C converter included in its structure serves the appropriate conversion of the analogue signal into digital signal and this is directed to the display realized from the series of LED diodes. Filters, thanks to which the appropriate 'posts' light up, have been implemented on the curriculum. This has simplified the design of the analyzer making it possible for even an intermediate electronic designer to build and run it.

The device is particularly recommended for electronics - electroacoustics and audiophiles

Selected parameters:

  • monophonic spectrum analyzer - one channel
  • the signal spectrum shown on the 10-digit display
  • the center frequency of the filters: 31Hz, 62Hz, 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz and 16kHz
  • signal amplitude causing lighting of subsequent diodes in the pole: from -16dB to + 2dB with a step of 2dB
  • the 0dB indication corresponds to an input signal with an amplitude of 0.2V
  • work in the display mode of bars or points
  • the mode of showing the maximum amplitude value
  • presenting spectrum on the field of multi-colored LEDs (100 pcs)
  • 12Vdc power supply
