For medical diagnostics, the study of electrical and magnetic heart activity is essential. His work is associated with electrical effects that are relatively easy to measure. Magnetic induction from the working heart is much more difficult to measure - a more precise, but very expensive and technically complicated method. One of the new concepts is the use of digital signal analysis techniques in ECG diagnoses. We present a device investigating the relationship between the frequency spectrum of the ECG signal and the functioning of the heart. After a slight modification of the software, the system can also be used in an amateur electronic laboratory as an oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer. The only limitation is the sampling frequency resulting from the operating speed of the analog-to-digital converter included in the processor used in the system.
The device is particularly recommended to electronics-experimenters
