Power HD Low-Profile Digital Servo 1207TG

The 1207TG is a premium servo from Power HD with a standard-size footprint but a very low height, resulting in a unique low profile that reduces weight and allows use in applications with tight space constraints. It has a coreless motor with an all-metal gear train, digital control electronics, and two ball bearings on the output shaft. Servo horns and associated hardware are included.

Key specs at 6 V: 0.09 sec/60°, 110 oz-in (8 kg-cm ), 48 g.

Overview

The HD-1207TG is a premium servo that is set apart by its unique, low-profile shape. Despite its reduced size and weight, the 1207TG offers the kind of performance usually only found in heavier standard-size servos, which makes it great for applications with tight space or weight constraints. The picture on the right shows how the 1207TG compares to our popular 1501MG standard-size servo.

Digital electronics combined with a coreless motor, titanium-shielded aluminum gears, and two ball bearings give this servo a distinct edge over typical standard-size servos. The 1207TG works with standard RC pulses at frequencies up to 333 Hz. The 12" (300 mm) lead is terminated with a standard â€sJRâ€t-style connector, which is Futaba-compatible. The picture below shows an example of the hardware that might be included with this servo (hardware might vary).

The pictures below show the all-metal (copper and aluminum) gear train and ball bearings.

You can find more information about this servo under the specifications tab and in its datasheet (364k pdf).

Note that, as with most hobby servos, stalling or back-driving this servo can strip its gears.
