ZL7PLD is a development kit for the Altera Cyclone family of FPl circuits. In addition to the PLD system with large logical resources, the set was equipped with peripherals used in typical microprocessor systems.

The basic properties of the set:

  • EP1C3 system in the VQFP100 housing,
  • built-in configurator with Flash EPCS1 memory,
  • socket for connecting an alphanumeric LCD display with 2x16 characters,
  • 4-digit, multiplexed LED display,
  • 8 LEDs,
  • 4 buttons for any applications,
  • a button forcing FPGA initialization (read configuration from Flash memory),
  • 3.6864 MHz quartz generator in the stand,
  • RC generator with adjustable frequency (5 ... 400 Hz),
  • piezoelectric speaker,
  • RS232 interface with voltage converter,
  • connector for connecting the UARTUSB converter (ZL1USB_A),
  • JTAG interface connector (FPGA configuration),
  • CNF interface connector (ISP configurator programming),
  • possibility of powering from USB or unregulated 9 ... 12 VDC external power supply,
  • built-in voltage stabilizers (1.5 / 3.3 and 5 V).

The set includes:

  • assembled circuit board,
  • CD-ROM.
