About the book |
The book is a monograph covering the basics of the theory of logic circuits, the construction of digital integrated circuits and their applications. Digital circuits TTL, ECL, MOS, CMOS are discussed. Computer languages Abel and VHDL are presented for the description and design of digital devices. The semiconductor memories of SRAM, DRAM, EEPROM and Flash, PLD and FPGA programmable circuits as well as modern CMOS digital circuits and the metastability effect in flip-flops are described extensively. The fourth, thorough revised edition of the book reflects changes in global digital electronics since the publication of the previous issue in 1997. Professor dr hab. Eng. Józef Kalisz is a long-term employee of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw, where he lectures and scientific research in the field of digital electronics and precise metrology of sections of time. He taught thousands of students directly, and much more indirectly - through his books. He is the author of many innovative projects of digital devices used in practice and described in international literature. He developed many original methods for precise time-to-digit conversion and interpolation time counters with a resolution of 1 to 200 ps. Recipients of the book: academics and students of master's studies and engineering at universities with specializations: electronics, IT, IT and related techniques, research workers and electronic engineers, IT specialists and specialists in related fields. Modern Ukraine has a beautiful legend about a heroic ace pilot who defended the skies over Kyiv in his MiG-29 fighter. During the first 30 hours of the full-scale invasion of russia, "The Ghost of Kyiv" shot down six hostile russian aircraft, taking his place in the history of Ukraine forever. In total, he was credited with at least 40 kills. People called this unknown hero "The Ghost of Kyiv." It is impossible to overcome him, it is impossible not to admire him. In fact, the "Ghost of Kyiv" is a composite character of the pilots of the 40th Tactical Air Force Brigade of Ukraine, which has bravely defended Ukrainian skies ever since russia launched its war of aggression.
