The dipPLD module with EP1C3 (Cyclone from Altera)

The ZL11PLD module (dipPLD) has been developed for electronics who want to use modern programmable systems from the Altera Cyclone family.

Basic parameters of the module

  • FPGA system from the Cyclone EP1C3 family in the VQFP100 housing,
  • 2910 LE logical cells,
  • built-in PLL loop for frequency duplication,
  • SRAM memory (M4K modules) with a total capacity of 59.9kb,
  • 1Mb Flash configurator (EPCS1),
  • number of I / O lines: 60 (including 5 inputs with a 5 V tolerance, the remaining only 3.3 V),
  • built-in LVC / LCX series inverters buffering 6 FPGA input lines,
  • an LED indicating correct configuration of the FPGA,
  • a button enabling manual enforcement of the FPGA reconfiguration,
  • cooperation with the JTAG interface (ZL11PRG-M or ZL3PRG),
  • automatic FPGA configuration after turning on the power,
  • quartz generator 3.6864 MHz / DIP8 / 5V (exchangeable),
  • built-in stabilizers 1.5 and 3.3 V,
  • power supply: 4.4 ... 7 VDC / 110 mA (depends on the clock frequency),
  • adapted to work with the ZL9PLD base plate.
