Description

Editor-in-chief recommends

One of the trends in consumer electronics is the reduction of power consumption. Thanks to the progress in this field, our electronic systems can be powered by energy, which is so much "wasted" in our environment. I mean light, heat, traffic energy (eg sea dikes), wind and others. In April Practical Electronics, we decided to look at the method of obtaining electricity from the environment to supply electronic devices. This is not a trivial task, because it is not enough that it requires a special transducer, it still has to cooperate with circuits ensuring its maximum, most effective use. I encourage you to read the EP, where you can find both practical examples of application implementation, as well as component information - an overview of the component manufacturers' offer in the field of integrated circuits for "energy harvesting" applications. Of course, there are also other interesting articles (for example, we are starting the HMI Programming Program!). I encourage you to read!
