Dallas's 1-Wire mainline is still very popular. Arrangements compatible with 1-Wire with ever-increasing functionality are being created. Thanks to the OneWireViewer software, you can read and apply 1-Wire without having to write even one program line - all you need is an interface that connects the 1-Wire bus with a PC.
