In the past, building gaming consoles was reserved only for entertainment industry giants. It required the use of components that were either inaccessible to the average user, or the components and / or software necessary to make this type of device were horribly expensive when purchased for a single project. Nowadays, every electronics constructor who knows the programming and applications of microcontrollers and has an idea for an electronic game, can build his own "game console" from components that are inexpensive and widely available.
Snake is an uncomplicated device built using the ATmega8 microcontroller, a graphic display with a PCD8544 driver (known from mobile phones) and 5 buttons with a display as a user interface. With their help, we control the "crawling" hose on the display. Our goal is to "eat" fruit from which - naturally - the snake grows. You also need to be careful not to eat your own tail ...
