TFMini is a small laser rangefinder with a measuring range of 0.3 to 12 meters. The measurement resolution is 5 mm. ToF technology (Time of Flight) is used for measurement. Communication with the sensor takes place via the UART interface (transmission speed: 115200, 8 data bits, no parity bit, one stop bit). A laser beam with a wavelength of 850 nm is used for the measurement. The measuring angle is 2.3 °. The power supply voltage is 5 V.
Due to its small size and weight, it is ideally suited for mobile or unmanned aerial vehicles.
