Description
Module with a UV light sensor VEML6070. It enables the detection of electromagnetic radiation with a wavelength from 320 to 410 nm. The sensor reacts to UV light in a linear manner and has a built-in ACK (active acknowledge) function, thanks to which it can inform about exceeding the assumed intensity threshold. The board is equipped with a Grove connector, so it can be used with the Base Shield V2 and Arduino extension. The module communicates via the I2C interface and is supplied with the voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V. It can be used as an indicator of UV radiation, e.g. in cosmetic products or sports gadgets.
