Description

The expansion module is designed for Teensy 4.0 and Teensy 4.1 tiles. It allows you to easily connect displays from the SmartMatrix series, it is easy to install and connect to the panel. It uses the color refreshing functions, gamma correction and brightness control. The manufacturer-supplied SmartMatrix library makes it easy to draw basic graphics, create scrolling and static text, draw patterns with FastLED, and play animated GIFs on the panel with minimal CPU load.   • Support for displays with a resolution of up to 9 thousand. pixels (e.g. 96 x 96)
  • The 4-pin JST-SM connector can be used to power Teensy
  • Control of LEDs compatible with DotStar/APA102 using built-in 5V buffers and 4-pin JST-SM connector
  • The panels can be connected in series to create large, bright, high-resolution displays
  • Controls all 14 signals on HUB75 panels using buffered 5V outputs, using only 9 GPIO pins on Teensy 4.0 or 4.1
  • Refresh rate up to 240 Hz
  • 48-bit color refresh is available
  • Color correction (gamma) and brightness control
  • The SmartMatrix library provides an easy development platform
