Teensy 4.1 is a module equipped with an ARM Cortex-M7 processor with a frequency of 600 MHz with the NXP iMXRT1062 chip, the fastest microcontroller currently available. Teensy 4.1 has the same size and shape as Teensy 3.6 and is compatible with most of the pin functions in Teensy 3.6.
The module has 55 digital input/output lines, of which 35 can be used as PWM outputs, as well as 18 analog pins. Each Teensy 4.1 module has a bootloader uploaded, so it can be programmed using the built-in USB connector. No external programmer is needed. Programs can be written in any environment supporting C language or in the Arduino IDE after installing the Teensyduino extension.
