Description

Romeo ESP32-S3 is an advanced development board designed specifically for robotics projects. The set uses an ESP32-S3 microcontroller and is equipped with a camera enabling video transmission and wireless remote control, which provides users with a First Person View (FPV) experience. The board supports the development of both two-wheeled (2WD) and four-wheeled (4WD) robots, offering a wide range of interfaces that make it easy to expand your projects.

The set is equipped with an OV2640 camera that allows users to use the video transmission function on a computer or smartphone, allowing them to view the robot's world from a first-person perspective. The robot can also perform image recognition tasks using artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. The OV2640 camera offers 2 MP resolution, supporting a maximum resolution of 1600x1200 px, which guarantees clear images and videos.

Romeo ESP32-S3 uses the ESP32-S3-WROOM-1U-N16R8 module with built-in 16 MB Flash memory and 8 MB PSRAM. Large memory capacity allows you to store more complex code and data. The microcontroller operates at a frequency of up to 240 MHz and is equipped with vector instructions to accelerate calculations such as neural network calculations and signal processing. With support for dual-band 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 (LE), the ESP32-S3 microcontroller facilitates remote control and image transmission.

The controller offers many interfaces enabling the integration of various devices, which gives the robot unlimited possibilities. For example, by connecting a microphone, the robot gains the ability to listen and respond to voice commands, and by connecting an amplifier, the robot can generate sounds. Additionally, connecting a gas sensor gives the robot the ability to smell. Romeo ESP32-S3 provides a stable 5 V power supply, which makes it easy to connect multiple servomechanisms to perform functions such as a robot manipulator.

Romeo ESP32-S3 is supported by various programming environments, including Arduino IDE and ESP-IDF. It also allows the use of popular programming languages such as C++ and MicroPython, allowing developers to easily manipulate hardware using programming languages they are familiar with.
