A set for building an interactive robot based on the micro: bit module. It can be programmed using tools such as Mind+, Scratch, MakeCode and MicroPython. DFRobot MBT0021-EN
micro: Maqueen Plus is a set for building an interactive robot. It is a small and inexpensive intelligent device equipped with a number of functionalities that will inspire and help you learn new technologies. The user learns the basics of robotics and computer science while improving and coding the robot. The robot perfectly fits into the ideology of STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), so it can be successfully used in schools that want to use modern teaching methods for education.
micro: Maqueen is based on the popular micro:bit module. The robot is programmed from a computer using such environments as Mind+, Scratch, MakeCode and MicroPython. Sample lessons to learn robot programming are available on the Github platform.

Thanks to the numerous sensors, the robot can follow the line and avoid obstacles. It has support for image sensors working within Huskylens AI, which allows expanding the possibilities with a vision system e.g. object recognition. Thanks to IR sensors it can also be remotely controlled in infrared. The electronic module has a Li-Ion battery charging circuit. The driving part of the robot is equipped with encoders and an implemented PID controller, which makes the robot drive precisely and repeatably. On the main board there are numerous connectors enabling free expansion with additional sensors and actuators.
Attention!
The kit does not include the micro:bit module and Li-Ion 18650 battery. They must be purchased separately. The set is easy to assemble and the assembly process does not require complicated tools.
The micro: Maqueen Plus mechanical design is compatible with additional accessories available as part of the Mechanic series.
