Flasher DSK (5.17.50)

Description

The Flasher Device Support Kit (DSK) is a tool created by SEGGER that allows the creation of custom device packs for Flasher programmers. It is used in situations where a new memory device, such as the internal flash memory of a microcontroller or external non-volatile memory, needs to have software loaded but has not yet been added to the Flasher support database. With the Flasher DSK, users can create Flasher Device Packs and installers to distribute these packs. This tool provides flexibility and enables quick programming of new devices not yet included in the support database.

The Flasher DSK allows programming of devices using interfaces such as JTAG, SPI, UART, SWD, as well as less standard ones like FINE, SWIM, PDI, I²C, ISP, bitbanging, and others. The kit also includes device definition templates and API documentation for Flasher software, enabling users to create devices tailored to their needs. With these tools, customers can quickly adapt their production environment to new devices and memories, simplifying the configuration process for production lines and minimizing downtime. The Flasher DSK is the most flexible programming tool, supporting a wide range of target devices.
