Description
The HAT module for building a weather station based on a Raspberry Pi minicomputer. It is based on the BME280 sensor, which allows you to read the atmospheric pressure in the range from 300 to 1100 hPa with an accuracy of ± 1 hPa, temperature in the range from -40 to 85 ℃ with an accuracy of ± 1 ° C and humidity with an accuracy of ± 3%. On the board, the user will also find the LTR-559 light sensor, which allows you to read the illumination intensity from 0.01 to 64,000 lux and detect objects at a short distance (up to 5 cm). In addition, HAT allows you to create a simple user interface based on a built-in 1.54" LCD display and four buttons, as well as the connection of rain and wind sensors thanks to the added RJ11 connectors. The set is dedicated to projects of weather stations. Examples of use along with the instruction manual are available on the project website.
