Description
Prusa Nextruder silicone sock designed to cover the heater block in the Nextruder extruder used in Prusa 3D printers. The component reduces heat loss and stabilizes the hotend operating temperature, resulting in more consistent printing conditions.
The silicone cover reduces adhesion of melted filament to the heater block and protects heating elements from contamination. This solution helps maintain cleanliness of the extruder assembly and reduces the risk of material buildup during long-term operation.
Installation should be performed with the printer powered off and cooled down. Cleaning of the nozzle and heater block is required before installation to ensure proper fit of the cover.
