Description
Miniature LED Sequin modules allow adding lighting effects to wearable electronics, e-textiles, and decorative electronic projects. Each module includes an LED in a 1206 package and a current-limiting resistor. Mounting holes allow the module to be sewn onto fabric using conductive thread or connected using soldered wires.
The set includes five modules with LEDs in different colors: warm white, ruby red, royal blue, emerald green, and rose pink. To operate the module, connect a voltage from 3 - 6 V to the positive pin and ground to the negative pin. The modules can operate directly from a Li-Po battery or a coin cell battery, as well as from microcontroller outputs such as Adafruit Gemma or Flora. PWM control enables effects such as smooth fading, dimming, or blinking of the LEDs.
