Description

A compact power module based on the AP63357 synchronous buck converter from Diodes Inc. It provides up to 3.5 A output current and supports a wide input voltage range from 3.8 V to 32 V, making it ideal for high-efficiency DC/DC conversion. The BabyBuck module is designed as a minimalist solution, configured to deliver a stable 5 V output from an input voltage range of 6 V to 32 V. Additionally, the module features a high-voltage EN (enable) pin, supporting up to 32 V. The back of the board includes a small pad that allows for heat dissipation using a heatsink. The module is extremely compact, with only four PTH pins for input and output power connections.

Note!

The AP63357 converter can handle up to 3.5 A of output current, but due to thermal limitations, the manufacturer recommends a maximum load of 3 A. For the full 3.5 A, active cooling is required.
