Description

The NUCLEO-WB05KZ development board based on the STM32WB05KZ microcontroller with an ARM Cortex-M0+ core enables the design of applications communicating wirelessly using Bluetooth Low Energy version 5.4. The microcontroller is equipped with 192 kB Flash memory and 24 kB SRAM housed in a VFQFPN32 package. The built-in 2.4 GHz transceiver and PCB antenna ensure connection stability and high energy efficiency, enabling the creation of low-power IoT solutions.

The board offers ARDUINO Uno V3 and ST morpho interfaces, which allow easy expansion with additional modules and full access to microcontroller pins. The integrated STLINK-V3EC programmer-debugger supports mass storage, virtual COM port, and debugging functions. Supported development environments include STM32CubeIDE, IAR Embedded Workbench, and MDK-ARM. Optimized for simple and compact BLE applications, it enables the design of two-layer PCBs thanks to the high integration of RF components (balun and HSE capacitors).
