Description

The NUCLEO-WL55JC2 starter kit from the STM32 Nucleo-64 family is equipped with the STM32WL55JC microcontroller in the UFBGA73 housing. The module is supported for communication at frequencies from 433 MHz to 510 MHz, thanks to which it can operate in LoRa and Sigfox modulations. Built-in STLINK-V3E programmer / debugger allows for quick and easy programming and debugging of the system. The STM32WL can also be programmed with an external tool connected to the MIPI10 connector. Flexible power supply allows for convenient use of the development board in the tested application.

Two types of connectors: Arduino Uno R3 and ST Morpho provide access to each port of the microcontroller and enable the connection of Arduino-compatible shields.

  • On-board STLINK-V3 debugger/programmer with USB re-enumeration capability: mass storage, Virtual COM port, and debug port
  • Comprehensive free software libraries and examples available with the STM32CubeWL MCU Package
  • Support of a wide choice of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) including IAR Embedded Workbench®, MDK-ARM, and STM32CubeIDE
  • Suitable for rapid prototyping of end nodes based on LoRaWAN, Sigfox, wM-Bus, and many other proprietary protocols
