X-NUCLEO-NFC08A1 is an expansion board for STM32 Nucleo with an NFC card reader based on the ST25R3916B chip. The chip manages the encoding and decoding of frames. It supports ISO/IEC 14443 type A and B, ISO/IEC 15693 and ISO/IEC 18092 communication protocols, as well as detection, reading and writing of NFC tag types 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
A built-in low-power capacitive sensor realizes wake-up from low-power modes without turning on the reader field and traditional inductive wake-up to select amplitude or phase measurement. Automatic antenna tuning (AAT) technology enables operation near metal components and/or in variable environments.
The board has an Arduino Uno R3 compatible connector and can be combined with STM32 Nucleo boards. The extended Arduino connector allows cascading the board with other extensions.
