Description

DSI IPS touch display 8.8″ Waveshare 33641 is designed for applications requiring a narrow, panoramic form factor and high image quality. The IPS matrix with a resolution of 480 x 1920 px provides wide 178° viewing angles and stable color reproduction, which is important for HMI interfaces, control panels, and information systems.

The display is equipped with a 10-point capacitive touch panel featuring toughened glass with hardness up to 6H, manufactured using optical bonding technology. This solution improves contrast, reduces reflections, and increases mechanical durability, which is relevant for industrial and embedded applications.

The default operating orientation is set to portrait mode 480 x 1920 (H x V), with the option to switch to landscape orientation via software configuration. IPS backlight brightness can be adjusted through software, allowing image parameters to be adapted to ambient lighting conditions and reducing power consumption.

The MIPI DSI interface enables direct cooperation with platforms such as Raspberry Pi, ESP32-P4, RK3506, RK3576, and compatible systems supporting DSI and multi-touch input. The display is suitable for HMI projects, user terminals, automotive systems, status panels, and IoT applications.
