Description
The Raspberry Pi DAC+ expands Raspberry Pi computers with a high-quality analogue audio output. The HAT is compatible with all Raspberry Pi models equipped with a 40-pin GPIO header and incorporates a Texas Instruments PCM5122 digital-to-analogue converter, supporting stereo audio playback at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz.
Audio output is available through a pair of RCA connectors and a 3.5 mm headphone jack with a dedicated headphone amplifier. The board connects directly to the GPIO header without soldering or additional cables and is powered directly from the Raspberry Pi. It is suitable for media players, audio systems and other projects requiring high-quality analogue audio output.
