Module with a 7-color e-Paper display with a diagonal of 7.3" and a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The display is controlled by a Raspberry Pi Pico W board with an RP2040 microcontroller equipped with two ARM Cortex-M0+ cores operating at a frequency of 133 MHz, 264 kB RAM and 2 MB of external QSPI Flash memory. The board also has an additional 8 MB PSRAM memory serving as a data buffer for the display. Additionally, the board is equipped with the Infineon CYW43439 chip, extending the board with WiFi wireless connectivity.
The display supports ACeP (Advanced Color ePaper) technology, and the built-in controller communicates via the SPI interface. e-Paper screens are characterized by high contrast of the displayed image and consume electricity only when the displayed content changes. The module has five built-in buttons with LED indicators, two Qwiic/Stemma QT connectors for additional sensors, and a micro SD card slot for data storage. The module can be placed on a desk thanks to the included metal legs, and the battery connector allows you to power the module with a battery without the need to connect long cables.
