Description
The compact ArduCAM camera module is a modern solution designed for single-board computers from the Raspberry Pi series, offering full compatibility with most models, including Raspberry Pi Model A/B/B+, Pi 2, Pi 3, Pi 4, Pi 5, and Pi ZERO. With its small dimensions, it is perfect for mobile applications and scenarios where space-saving is essential while maintaining high image quality. The camera utilizes a CSI interface, ensuring fast and stable image transmission to the Raspberry Pi processor via a short FPC ribbon cable.
The device features an Omnivision OV5647 sensor, capable of capturing photos at 5 MP resolution (2592×1944) and recording smooth videos in 1080p and 720p. The fixed-focus lens provides a 54° horizontal field of view and 41° vertical field of view, making it versatile for applications such as surveillance systems, object recognition, and process automation.
The module is characterized by low power consumption, making it an excellent choice for battery-powered devices.
