Description
Waveshare IMX415 8MP USB Camera (A) is a high-resolution USB camera module based on the Sony IMX415 1/2.8" image sensor. The module enables image capture at resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 (4K) at 30 fps, delivering detailed and stable video output suitable for industrial, embedded, and machine vision systems.
The camera integrates a wide-angle lens with a 95.5° diagonal field of view (DFOV) and very low distortion below 1%, allowing accurate image acquisition with minimal geometric deformation. Autofocus operation maintains sharp focus automatically without manual adjustment.
The module includes two built-in microphones, enabling simultaneous audio capture without additional peripherals. The USB 2.0 Type-C interface ensures straightforward integration with PC computers, Raspberry Pi boards, Jetson Orin platforms, and other UVC-compatible devices.
Two connector types are available on the PCB: a USB Type-C port and a 5-pin 1.0 mm pitch connector (SH1.0), increasing flexibility during system integration in embedded designs.
