The Raspberry Pi Cooler is an essential accessory for anyone who wants to ensure optimal operating conditions for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5. Efficient passive cooling effectively reduces the operating temperature of the module, which is crucial for ensuring reliability and long-term stability of the system. With this heatsink, users can fully utilize the capabilities of their Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 without worrying about overheating and the associated reduction in performance
The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 Passive Cooler is a passive radiator designed specifically for the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, intended for users who want to optimize the performance of their device and protect it from overheating and potential mechanical damage. This radiator is designed to effectively cool key components such as the processor, RAM, eMMC, and power supply circuit, which contributes to improved system stability and extends the module's lifespan.
The radiator is easy to assemble, so even users with minimal experience can handle its installation. The kit includes four M2.5 × H1.5 or M2.5 × H3 nylon washers and four M2.5 × 8 screws, which ensure a stable attachment of the radiator to the module. Assembly involves placing the thermal pads on the processor and other key components of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5, then placing the radiator and securing it to the module with screws. Thanks to this solution, the radiator adheres perfectly to the surface of the CPU and other components, which ensures effective heat dissipation.
Kamami is the official distributor of Raspberry Pi minicomputers and dedicated accessories.
The Raspberry Pi Cooler's operating mechanism is based on passive cooling, which means there is no need to use fans or other moving parts that can generate noise and increase energy demand. The heat generated during the operation of the processor and the wireless module is transferred via thermopads to the aluminum radiator. The thermopads act as a medium with high thermal conductivity, which allows for the efficient transfer of thermal energy without losses. The radiator, thanks to its large surface area, allows for the dissipation of heat to the environment, which lowers the temperature of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 5 and ensures its stable operation even under heavy load.
