Description

The Kyoritsu KEW2033 measures AC and DC current from 0.01 A to 300 A without interrupting the circuit. Its compact housing and distinctive drop-shaped clamp jaws provide easy access to conductors inside distribution panels, cable bundles, and other confined locations. A 4000-count LCD display delivers clear readings, while the clamp opening accommodates conductors up to 24 mm in diameter.

Automatic ranging simplifies operation, and the 20 Hz to 1 kHz AC frequency response allows measurements of currents containing higher harmonic components. The Data Hold function freezes the displayed reading, while the 0 ADJ function enables zero adjustment before DC current measurements. An automatic power-off function switches the meter off after approximately ten minutes of inactivity to extend battery life. Compliance with IEC 61010-1 CAT III 300 V and IEC 61010-2-032 safety standards ensures reliable operation, and compatibility with Multi-Tran 8004 and 8008 current transformers extends the measurement range beyond 300 A using a ×10 conversion factor.
