Description

The DDSM315 motor is an integrated direct-drive servo (PMSM) hub motor with encoder and driver, designed for mobile robots and DIY constructions. Thanks to direct drive technology, it eliminates the need for a reduction gearbox, offering quiet operation, high efficiency (close to 99.99%), and zero mechanical backlash. It supports closed-loop control (current, speed, and position) and RS485 communication, allowing multiple motors to be connected on a single bus.

Its compact design, built-in protections (overcurrent, electric brake, Hall detection), and feedback on position, speed, current, and temperature ensure stable and precise operation. The IP54 protection rating increases resistance to dust and splashes, extending the motor’s lifespan. DDSM315 can be mounted on UGV suspensions or directly on robotic chassis, making it easier to build high-performance mobile platforms.
