USB - UART converter module based on the popular FT232RL chip by FTDI. The user has access to the TX, RX, RTS and CTS lines, which are led out on the female goldpin connector. Depending on the position of the configuration jumper, the FT232RL can be powered from USB with 5 or 3.3 V. The converter uses a mini USB connector.
