Description

The ACS72981 current sensor module is a modern solution based on the Hall effect, providing electrical isolation of the current path. This allows it to be placed anywhere in the electrical circuit while ensuring safe and accurate measurements. The sensor features an interference-resistant design, eliminating the effects of uniform magnetic fields such as Earth's field. With its low conductive path resistance (0.2 mΩ) and a 6-layer PCB with 2 oz copper, energy losses are minimized.

The sensor offers a wideband analog output (up to 250 kHz) proportional to AC or DC current, with a response time under 2 µs. Built-in digital temperature compensation improves measurement accuracy across a wide temperature range.

The module uses a multilayer PCB to ensure high durability and reliability. Large mounting holes support connections using up to 2 AWG wires or ring terminals. Additionally, there are mounting holes with 2.54 mm, 3.5 mm, and 5 mm pitch, although these are not recommended for high current applications.
