The INA228 sensor module is a power monitoring device that provides comprehensive measurement support. This powerful tool allows you to measure voltages up to 85 VDC in common voltage mode, allows measurement on a low or high voltage line, has a 20-bit ADC converter for precise current measurements from milliamps to amperes, as well as an I2C interface for easy configuration of alarms, oversampling , gain adjustment and many other functions. The module works with microcontrollers or single-board computers such as Raspberry Pi. It is compatible with both 3V and 5V logic.
The sensor allows for accurate measurements at various voltage, current and temperature ranges with an accuracy of better than 1%, and all data is easily accessible via the I2C interface. Thanks to the precision 15 mOhm resistor built into the board, the module can be used to measure voltages up to +85 V at a current of up to 10 A in continuous mode on both low and high voltage lines. The module uses a built-in 20-bit resolution ADC, which allows for accurate measurements over an impressive current range, with a resolution of 10uA per LSB in high-current measurement mode or 2.5uA per LSB in low-current measurement mode.
The INA228 module is an indispensable tool for precise power monitoring over a wide range of voltages and currents. Thanks to I2C support and exceptional 20-bit resolution, this module significantly exceeds the capabilities of traditional solutions available on the market.
