Ultrasonic distance sensor RCW-0001 with a measuring range from 1 to 450 cm and a resolution of 1 mm. It measures the distance from an obstacle using the sonar principle, i.e. it measures the time between the transmission and return of an ultrasonic wave. The sensor performance is not affected by sunlight, spotlight, or the color of the object's surface. The sensor will be perfect for projects with small dimensions, where an accurate distance measurement with a fairly large range is required.
The sensor has outputs compatible with the popular HC-SR04 sensor, so that the example programs for HC-SR04 will also work with RCW-0001. The RCW-0001 sensor is a mini version of the HC-SR04 - it has a much smaller size and a reduced dead zone to 1 mm. The RCW-0001 can also work with both 3.3V and 5V (HC-SR04 can only be powered by 5V).
