The 7.5-inch eInk/ePaper display features 800x480 pixel resolution for excellent readability, even in bright sunlight. It supports three colors: black, white, and red, allowing you to clearly highlight key information. The image persists without power, making the display ideal for battery-powered applications. Adafruit 6415
7.5-inch eInk/ePaper display is an energy-efficient solution designed for electronic projects that require excellent readability and minimal power consumption. Electronic paper technology ensures that the image remains visible even after the power is completely disconnected. The display offers a high resolution of 800 × 480 pixels, allowing clear presentation of graphics, text, and icons. Thanks to its high contrast, the screen is perfectly readable in full daylight without the need for backlighting. This model supports three colors: black, white, and red, enabling important information and interface elements to be highlighted.
The display closely mimics the appearance of traditional paper, making it ideal for information boards, labels, IoT systems, clocks, status panels, and data readers. This is a version without onboard driving electronics, intended for users who want to select their own controller and software. Proper operation requires connection to a board with a 24-pin FPC connector compatible with ePaper displays. The integrated UC8179 controller is supported by popular Arduino and CircuitPython libraries, which greatly simplifies integration. The display is well suited for both hobbyist and semi-professional projects. Low power consumption and a stable, static image make it an ideal choice for battery-powered applications and long-term installations.
