Description

ESP32-S3-ePaper-3.97-Kit provides an integrated development platform designed for low-power IoT projects and portable devices, delivered as a Basic Kit set with a 3.7 V lithium battery, 16 GB TF card, and card reader. The ESP32-S3R8 chip with a dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor clocked up to 240 MHz supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and Bluetooth 5 LE, ensuring wireless communication in network and mobile applications.

The board features a 3.97" e-Paper display with a resolution of 800 × 480 px. e-Ink technology ensures a wide viewing angle, high contrast, and a paper-like effect without backlight, while power is mainly consumed during image refresh, supporting mobile operation with battery power.

The Basic Kit includes a 3.7 V lithium battery connected via an MX1.25 connector and a TG28 power management chip supporting battery charging and control. The RTC backup connector allows time settings to be retained during replacement of the main power source. The included 16 GB TF card together with the card reader facilitates media preparation and data transfer, while the onboard TF (microSD) slot supports applications related to data logging, file storage, and application resource handling.

The module integrates a microphone, ES8311 audio codec, NS4150B amplifier, 6-axis QMI8658 IMU, PCF85063 RTC, and SHTC3 temperature and humidity sensor. The platform supports ESP-IDF and Arduino IDE environments, enabling rapid implementation of information display projects, environmental monitoring, TF card data logging, and AI voice interaction applications.
