The EDF Power System, which includes an EDF27 turbine and a 10000kV brushless motor, is an increasingly common way to increase the adhesion of the Line Follower robot to the ground. Vertically mounted on the chassis, the drive "extrudes" the air from under the robot, which increases the pressure and friction of the wheels without increasing the weight of the vehicle at the same time.
