The ESP32-P4-EYE module is an advanced development platform for real-time image and audio processing applications. It is based on the ESP32-P4 chip with a dual-core RISC-V processor and support for up to 32 MB of PSRAM. It supports USB 2.0, MIPI-CSI/DSI interfaces, a hardware H.264 encoder, and numerous peripherals, enabling the development of high-performance, low-power video and audio devices with network connectivity.
Equipped with the additional ESP32-C6-MINI-1U module, the board provides wireless communication via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Onboard components include a 2 MP camera with manual focus, a 1.54" LCD display with a resolution of 240 x 240 pixels, a digital microphone, a MicroSD card slot, and auxiliary lighting, enabling full image and audio acquisition without the need for external components.

The ESP32-P4-EYE supports a MIPI-CSI interface for connecting a camera, USB 2.0 in device mode, and an FPC connector for controlling an LCD display via SPI. A rotary encoder and user buttons enable the implementation of interactive functions. Goldpin connectors (2x10) facilitate the connection of external peripherals via jumper cables.
Power is available via a USB 2.0 port, a USB debug port, or a Li-Ion/Li-Po battery connector. The board offers battery charging and a charge status indicator.
Applications include intelligent monitoring, image and sound recognition, edge computing applications in IoT systems, and the implementation of AI models requiring local image processing with wireless communication.
