Description

The PUSR ST208S is designed for wireless Ethernet communication in industrial applications. Operating in the 2.4 GHz band and based on a Qualcomm wireless solution, it replaces wired Ethernet connections with a stable wireless bridge between PLC controllers, HMI panels, IP cameras, NVR recorders, network switches, and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The external antenna design provides a theoretical wireless data rate of up to 300 Mbps and a communication range of up to 500 m in open environments, depending on operating conditions.

Wireless Ethernet Communication

The ST208S supports the IEEE 802.11b/g/n wireless standard with 2×2 MIMO technology and transmit power of up to 20 dBm. The device is equipped with two 10/100 Mbps RJ45 Ethernet ports, with LAN2 supporting PoE input. It supports both Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint network topologies, enabling wireless communication between remote industrial network segments. Factory-paired devices allow immediate operation without manual wireless pairing or configuration.

Configuration and Remote Management

Configuration is performed through the integrated web interface. Available settings include static IP or DHCP addressing, wireless network parameters, transmit power, channel selection, channel bandwidth, and WPA/WPA2 security. The manufacturer also provides diagnostic tools such as Ping, Traceroute, and Nslookup, firmware updates, configuration import/export, scheduled automatic reboot, SSH support, and centralized device management through the PUSR DM Cloud platform.

Designed for Industrial Environments

The device features a metal enclosure suitable for wall or DIN rail mounting. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and a humidity range of 10% to 95% RH (non-condensing). Power can be supplied via 9 V to 24 V DC or passive PoE. High resistance to electromagnetic interference together with the industrial-grade Qualcomm platform makes the bridge suitable for factory automation, warehouses, production facilities, and industrial monitoring systems.
