WiFi HaLow module designed for integration with Seeed Studio XIAO boards, based on the FGH100M-H radio module. It supports the IEEE 802.11ah standard and operates in the 902-928 MHz frequency band, providing extended transmission range and improved signal penetration compared to conventional 2.4 GHz WiFi. The solution is intended for IoT systems requiring long-distance communication with low power consumption.
The maximum transmission range can reach up to 1 km under favorable conditions. The module operates in STA mode and supports OFDM, BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM and 64QAM modulation schemes. Integrated security mechanisms include AES, SHA-256, SHA-384, SHA-512 and WPA3. The compact 42 x 25 mm form factor allows direct connection to Seeed Studio XIAO boards in pre-soldered header versions.
Note!
The expansion board is not directly compatible with the XIAO nRF54L15 series due to the lack of Arduino support. The hardware interface remains fully compatible, and software adaptation can be performed on the user side. Official software support is currently under development.
The module is designed to operate only in ITU region 2.
Proper operation requires the use of a suitable WiFi HaLow antenna and an SMA to I-PEX antenna cable.
