Description
The Expansion HAT module with the SC16IS752 chip allows you to extend the functionality and design options for the Raspberry Pi. It is possible thanks to its content:
- built-in SC16IS752 module, extends 2-channel UART and 8 programmable GPIOs via I2C, no additional pin required
- you can stack up to 16 modules by setting the address jumper, which means up to 32-channel UART
- many LEDs indicate the UART status
- reserved I2C control pins allow you to work with other control boards
