The light sensor module TSL2561 is characterized by a flat signal response in most of the visible light band. Unlike other light sensors, the sensor included in the modSL2561 module measures both visible and infrared light to better approximate the effects of the human eye. The layout of the system includes two photodiodes and two A / C converters, thanks to which it is possible to simultaneously measure the intensity of illumination in the visible and infrared spectrum.
The TSL2561 system communicates via the I2C bus, it also has an OC (configurable alarm) output.
