LoRa module with RP2040 microcontroller, manufactured by the renowned supplier Raspberry Pi. It is designed with reliability and versatility in mind and is equipped with a dual-core Arm Cortex M0+ processor, clocked at up to 133 MHz. The wealth of resources includes 264 KB SRAM and 2 MB of built-in Flash memory, enabling effective data and program management.
For convenience and versatility, the LoRa module is equipped with an 8-pin FPC connector, enabling easy connection of a USB Type-C adapter. Additionally, the edge connectors enable the module to be installed as an SMT element, which makes it an ideal solution for a variety of applications. Supporting USB 1.1 in both device and host modes, this module offers connectivity flexibility. The implemented sleep modes allow for effective energy management, which is crucial in battery-powered applications.

The main functionality of the module is provided by the LoRa SX1262 system, ensuring reliable long-distance connectivity. It supports FSK, GFSK and LoRa modulations, which allows adaptation to various communication scenarios. The module's operating frequency ranges from 410 to 525 MHz, which allows for flexible adaptation to local conditions and regulations. An additional advantage of the LoRa module is its high reception sensitivity of -148dBm, as well as programmable emission power of up to 22dBm, which ensures reliable communication over long distances. Importantly, the module's energy efficiency when transmitting (107 mA) and receiving (5.3 mA) makes it battery-friendly. In addition, the user can connect an external antenna via the IPEX connector. To help users develop their projects, a dedicated library and examples in C are available for the LoRa module, facilitating integration with various programming platforms. Full documentation and sample programs are available on the product page.
