Description
Optical sensor module, enabling the construction of an incremental encoder. The sensor element works in the infrared band, which eliminates the influence of external light on the sensor's operation. An element of the module is signaling the infrared (IR) beam interruption by means of a LED diode. At the moment of the beam interruption, there is a low state at the output of the module. The sensor also works as a pulse counter for other mechanisms.
