The GR10-30 sensor module, which enables recognition of gestures made by the user. It is capable of recognising 12 hand gestures: upward, downward, left, right, forward, backward, right and left rotation, continuous right and left rotation, hovering and waving. Users can configure parameters such as gesture trigger distance, hand rotation angle, hover time that can be recognised and recognition window size for more accurate results. The GR10-30 features stable operation and high accuracy at detection distances of up to 30cm. Meanwhile, it provides two interrupt outputs to indicate whether a gesture has been triggered and whether the object has entered the recognition range.
The device supports communication via both UART and I2C interfaces, providing flexibility for integration with different platforms and microcontrollers. The sensor is ideal for non-contact applications such as remote gesture controllers, robot interaction, human-machine interface control, lighting control and game machines. Full documentation and example programmes are available on the product page.
