The RD-01 module is an advanced radar module that supports both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication. The device uses FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) radar technology operating in the 24 GHz band, enabling precise detection of human presence and movement within the monitored area. Thanks to its integrated detection algorithm, the module provides high sensitivity for detecting both motion and static presence.
The communication part is based on the BL602 chip, which supports Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and BLE 5.0 protocols, ensuring reliable real-time data transmission. The chip features a 32-bit RISC processor, 276 KB RAM, and a set of interfaces such as SPI, UART, I²C, PWM, ADC, and GPIO. The module allows configuration of operating parameters, including detection range and sensitivity, via intuitive visual tools. It is an ideal solution for smart control systems, smart home, security systems, or building automation where presence detection is required without the use of cameras or infrared sensors.
The RD-01 operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it suitable for use in various environments.
